Short, because there isn't much to say.

The calculator

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type into it is sent to us. The page URL updates with your inputs so you can bookmark or share a result; that URL stays with you.

Contact form

Messages sent through the contact form (name, email, reason, message, and the page you came from) are emailed to Virtue Solar through Resend, a transactional email service, and used only to reply to you.

Quote requests

If you submit the quote form, the information you enter (name, contact details, ZIP, bill, notes, and the calculator inputs you carried over) is sent to Virtue Solar's customer system so a person can respond. It is not sold, shared with other installers, or added to marketing lists beyond the conversation you started. If you arrived via an ad, the ad platform's click identifier is included so Virtue Solar can tell which ads work. To have your request deleted, send a deletion request.

Checking the texting box gives consent to receive text messages about your request. Reply STOP to any message to end them.

Analytics

We use Plausible, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. It records page views and a few events (such as "quote submitted") in aggregate.

Advertising

Some pages may show ads served by Google AdSense. When ads are enabled, Google may use cookies to personalize them; you can opt out at Google Ads Settings. Pages on the quote path never carry ads.

Local storage

If you arrive from an ad or campaign link, the campaign identifiers are kept in your browser's local storage for up to 90 days so they can be attached to a later quote request. Clearing site data removes them.
